10-inch replacement tubes

Each pen kit and most project kits come with a brass tube that you glue into the centre of your blank before sliding the blank onto your mandrel, ready for turning. If you end up damaging or blowing up your blank, don’t worry, you haven’t lost the kit! Replacement pen tubes are available, either already cut to the exact length you need for your kit or in 10” lengths for you to cut your own.

Cutting your own tubes is simple. Just use an inexpensive tube cutter – available at most hardware stores – to make your cut. Watch our video to see a cutter in action.
