What tooling do I need to make this kit?

To make this kit, you will need (all sold separately):

• 1" Forstner bit
• 1-3/4" Forstner bit
•  5/16" drill bit
•  1" jam chuck
•  60-degree live centre
• three-jaw drill chuck or collet (not included)

This is a woodworking turning project that requires turning, finishing, and final assembly using standard woodworking equipment. You will not receive a finished grinder.

What size blank do I need to make this kit?

The housing measures approximately 2" diameter × 4-1/2" high once turned. Recommended blank size is 2-1/2" to 3" square by 4" long, giving you extra material for shaping and clean-up.
