One-piece and two-piece ring cores: Turn your own rings on the lathe using familiar woodturning techniques. One-piece Lifestyle rings can be made using a standard pen mandrel for an affordable way to get started. Both Lifestyle and two-piece JDG rings can also be turned using a specialized expanding ring mandrel for greater precision. One-piece rings are a great intermediate-level project, while two-piece rings offer a more advanced challenge.
Inlay ring cores: Create colourful, decorative rings using crushed opal, decorative stones, metallic foils and other inlay materials instead of traditional ring blanks. These ring cores feature recessed channels that can be filled with your choice of materials to create unique, personalized designs.
