Our project blocks, blanks, spindles and bowl blanks give you the material you need when a standard pen blank just won’t cut it. Whether you’re turning something compact and chunky or long and elegant, this is where you’ll find the right size to match your vision.

Project blocks / blanks - up to 6" long: These are your go-to for chunkier projects that don’t need a lot of length. At up to 6 inches long, they’re perfect for tool handles, short grinders, and other compact turning projects where you want plenty of material to shape and contour.

Spindle blanks - 6"+ long: Spindles are the long ones. Usually over 6 inches and up to 12 inches long, they’re designed for projects that need extra length — rolling pins, longer handles, pepper mills, and decorative spindles - or can easily be cut up into smaller blocks.

Bottle stopper blanks - 2-1/2" long: Short and sweet. At 2-1/2 inches long, these are sized just right for bottle stoppers, finials, and other small accent pieces. No wasted wood and no awkward cutoffs.

Bowl blanks: Ready for larger-scale turning, our bowl blanks are available in 2", 3", 4" and 5" thicknesses in a variety of diameters — giving you the flexibility to turn anything from smaller utility bowls to substantial statement pieces.
