To make this kit, you will need (all sold separately):
3/8" drill bit
Bushing set PKCP3000BU
Pen mill shaft 3/8"
Mandrel A/7 mm
What is the minimum blank size I need to make this kit?
You will need a pen blank at least 3/4" square × 5" long to allow enough material for turning and trimming. Shown here with the “Mosaic Woodland” pen blank (no longer available).
What refill do I need for this kit?
This kit includes a Parker-style refill, which is easy to replace and widely available in different ink colours and types. Turn this kit into a pencil with the Parker-style Forever pencil refill. Just remove the pen refill, slip the spring onto the pencil refill and insert the pencil refill into the pen kit.
Please note: This is a woodturning project that requires turning, finishing, and assembly using woodworking equipment. You will not receive a finished pen.
