What tooling do I need to make this pen?

To make this kit, you will need (all sold separately):

• 3/8" drill bit

• 3/8" pen mill shaft

• PKHAUNT-BU bushing set

• Pen mandrel A / 7 mm

This is a woodworking turning project that requires drilling, turning, sanding, finishing and assembly using woodworking equipment. You will receive the components needed to assemble the pen, but the pen blank and tooling are sold separately.

What is the minimum blank size?

The recommended minimum blank size is 3/4" square × 5" (19 × 19 × 127 mm). The finished pen shown is made with our Fusion hybrid pen blank FUS-98 Moonrise Silver, which is sold separately.

What type of ink refill does this pen use?

The Haunted Halloween pen kit uses a standard Parker-style ballpoint refill. When the ink runs out, simply replace it with another compatible Parker-style refill. You can also choose from compatible Parker-style gel refills for a different writing experience.

Can I convert this pen into a pencil?

Yes! You can turn your Haunted Halloween pen into a pencil by replacing the ballpoint refill with a compatible Parker-style Forever Pencil refill (sold separately). The Forever Pencil features a long-lasting metal alloy tip that doesn't require sharpening. It's a convenient alternative for writing, sketching or taking notes without worrying about running out of ink.
