This is a woodworking turning project that requires turning, finishing and assembly with woodworking equipment. You will not receive a finished item.
What is the minimum blank size I need to make this kit?
You will need a pen blank at least 3/4" square × 5" long (19 mm x 19 mm x 127 mm) to allow enough material for turning and trimming. Shown here in AA-528 Red Shimmer (blank sold separately; see “Related Products” tab for link).
What refill do I need for this kit?
This kit includes a Parker-style refill, which is easy to replace and widely available in different ink colours and types. Turn this kit into a pencil with the Parker-style Forever pencil refill. Just remove the pen refill, slip the spring onto the pencil refill and insert the pencil refill into the pen kit.
