What tooling do I need to make this kit?
To make this kit, you’ll need Forstner bits 1-1/16" and 1-1/2", jam chucks 1" and 1-1/2", and a 7/16 drill bit (not included). Because it’s an advanced project, we recommend reviewing the instructions carefully before purchasing.
What size blank do I need to make this kit?
Use a blank approximately 6" long — about 2" for the head blank and 3-3/4" for the base blank — to allow enough material for shaping and fitting the mechanism.
