What tooling do I need to make this kit?
The handles are easy and enjoyable to turn, mounting between centres using a bottle stopper chuck on the headstock and a live centre at the tailstock. These are woodturning project kits that require turning, finishing, and assembly using woodworking equipment. Finished tools are not included.
What size blank do I need?
Each tool requires one blank, with a recommended minimum diameter of 1-1/2" square. The fork and spatula will each require a 7" blank for the handles, and the tongs will require two 6" long blanks for the handles. Shown here with SpectraPly “Gemwood” (blank no longer available).
