This back-to-basics fountain pen features a lightweight design (2 oz.), smooth threads machined in solid brass, and classic fountain pen writing characteristics for a refined and enjoyable writing experience.
What tooling do I need to make this kit?
To make this kit, you will need (all sold separately):
3/8" drill bit
Bushing set PKMAJSQBU
Pen mill shaft 3/8"
Mandrel A/7 mm
What size blank do I need to make this kit?
You will need a pen blank at least 3/4" square × 5" long to allow enough material for turning and trimming. Shown here with AA-610 “Double Double” (pen blank not included). Pen length with cap on: 13.9 cm. This is a woodworking turning project that requires turning, finishing, and assembly with woodworking equipment. You will not receive a finished item.
What else should I know?
This kit uses a standard fountain pen nib and can be upgraded to a Beaufort or Bock #5 nib for enhanced writing performance. See the “Related Products” tab for links.
