Most of the ballpoint pen kits we carry use one of two common refill styles: Cross-style or Parker-style. Knowing which one your pen takes opens up more options than simply replacing the original refill.
Cross-style: The long, narrow Cross-style refill is familiar to anyone who has turned a traditional Slimline or 7 mm-style pen. The refill screws into the pen's twist mechanism. When it eventually runs dry, simply unscrew the old refill and replace it with another compatible Cross-style refill. A compatible Cross-style pencil mechanism gives you the option of making a matching pen-and-pencil set.
Parker-style: Parker-style — also known as G2 — is a larger refill format used in many ballpoint pen kits. A pen designed for a Parker-style refill can give you several writing options without changing the pen itself - including compatible pencil refills.
