What does the bundle include?
Each bundle includes six Pearlux solid colour blanks, 1 each of yellow, blue, purple, green, orange, red.
What are the dimensions of these blanks?
Each blank measures approximately 3/4" in diameter × 5" long (19 mm × 127 mm), making them suitable for most standard pen turning projects.
How can I finish these blanks?
For best results, wet sand using Micro Mesh from approximately 1,500 grit up to 12,000 grit. Use water to create a fine slurry that helps reveal and remove scratches as you progress.
Once sanding is complete, apply a plastic polish such as Novus or One-Step while the blank is spinning on the lathe. Buff with a clean shop towel to achieve a high-gloss, durable finish.
What makes these blanks unique?
Each Pearlux blank is individually hand-poured, even in solid colours. While the colour is consistent, you may still see subtle variation in tone, depth, and shimmer that adds character to the finished piece.
What else should I know?
Minor internal variations or small imperfections are a natural result of the hand-poured process and are not considered defects. The blanks shown are representative only; your set will be selected at random.
