What is included in this bundle?
You’ll receive five 0.75 oz / 21 g jars, one each of: Dark Purple, Gold, Rich Red, Turquoise Green, and Black.
What’s the difference between mica and glitter powder?
Mica powder is very fine and stays suspended in the resin longer, allowing you to create swirls, waves, and layered effects. Glitter powder is more granular and slightly heavier, so it settles more and creates bold, light-catching highlights.
How much powder do I need to use?
A general guideline for mica powder is two teaspoons for four standard pen blanks (7/8" square × 5" long). For glitter, you’ll need at least double that amount to create a solid colour effect with glitter alone. The less glitter you use, the more clear resin will show through your cast.
Pro tip: Mix a little glitter into your mica powder blends for an extra pop of sparkle.
Anything else I should know?
Glitter powder pigment is intended for casting resins such as Alumilite. It is not compatible with Cactus Juice stabilizing resin.
