This chrome-plated bottle stopper kit features a sleek cone-shaped design measuring 2-3/4" long. It includes a 3/8"-16 tpi threaded stud for secure mounting and durable performance.
What tooling do I need to make this kit?
To make this kit, you will need the BSMAND-38-16 bottle stopper mandrel (sold separately). You will also need a Jacobs chuck or drill chuck for your lathe.
What size blank do I need for this kit?
We recommend a blank at least 1-1/2" square × 2-1/2" long to allow enough material for turning and shaping. NOTE: This is a woodworking turning project requiring turning, finishing, and assembly with woodworking equipment. You will not receive a finished stopper.
What else should I know?
Try our bottle stopper inserts to make your project even easier (see the Related Products tab). Using a 33/64" drill bit, simply drill a 13.2 mm / 0.52" deep hole into your blank, glue the insert in place, and your project is ready to mount on a bottle stopper mandrel. Alternatively, you can use the bottle stopper drill and tap set to drill and thread the hole directly.
