Stabilized wood has been professionally impregnated with resin under pressure, reinforcing softer or highly figured areas and eliminating weak spots. The result is a blank that drills cleanly, turns smoothly, and resists tear-out or blowouts — even in challenging burl or figured grain.

For best results: sand progressively using Abranet or sanding mesh, followed by Micro Mesh. Finish with a cyanoacrylate glue finish and polish with a quality plastic polish for a deep, durable shine. Friction polishes such as Doctor’s Wood Shop, Mylands, Aussie Oil, or Shellawax products can also produce a high-gloss, long-lasting finish.
