Everlast HDPE pen blank mold casting system bundle by Penn State Industries

Cast your own custom pen blanks with the Everlast HDPE Pen Blank Mold Casting System bundle by Penn State Industries. This complete setup makes it easy to create resin, hybrid or tube-in blanks right in your shop. Simply mix your colours, pigments or materials into your resin, pour the mixture into the mold and allow it to cure. The mold is precision-milled in the USA from solid blocks of HDPE (high density polyethylene), creating a tough, durable mold that resists warping and cracking. The HDPE surface is naturally non-stick, making blanks easy to remove once cured.

This two-chamber mold is fully sealed against leaks and allows you to cast two blanks at the same time, saving both time and resin during your casting sessions.

What is included in the bundle?

This bundle includes everything you need to start casting pen blanks:

  • One two-chamber HDPE mold
Four sets of silicone tube mounts
    Two silicone stops
    Mold release and application brush

What size blanks can this mold cast?

This mold can cast two full-length pen blanks up to 5-1/4" long by 7/8" square. It also works for decorated tube-in casting where the brass tube is suspended inside the mold.

What do the silicone tube mounts and stops do?

The silicone tube mounts hold brass pen tubes securely inside the mold so you can cast blanks directly around the tubes. They accommodate tubes of virtually any diameter or length. The silicone stops allow you to shorten the mold chamber, making it possible to cast shorter blanks while using less resin.

What type of resin can I use with this mold?

This system is compatible with common casting resins such as Alumilite and similar products used for pen blank casting. You can use the mold with or without a pressure pot. Because the mold is rigid, a mold release agent should always be used to ensure easy demolding.
