Each blank measures approximately 3/4" square by 5" long (19 mm x 19 mm x 127 mm), making it ideal for most pen kits and other small turning projects. The photo shown is a typical representation. Each blank is unique and will be selected at random.
How do you recommend finishing Bocote?
It's an oily wood. Wipe it down with acetone after sanding, which helps remove oil so your finish will adhere better. Let it dry before applying finish. Cyanoacrylate or friction polish work well as a finish.
