What is stabilization? Stabilization impregnates soft wood with resin, transforming a weak blank into a durable, workable material.
What is burl? Burl is a rare, abnormal growth on a tree with swirling figure and “eyes” that make it highly prized for fine furniture and jewelry-grade projects.
The blank in the photo has been sanded to highlight the figure. Your blank will be selected at random. Colour variation is normal due to differences in wood density that affect resin and dye absorption.
