Ornament kit - easy 7 mm project kit

Create a classic turned ornament with this simple, versatile ornament kit. It’s a great small-project option for gift giving, craft shows, or adding variety to your turning lineup, and it pairs beautifully with wood, acrylic, or resin blanks. Finish and style are up to you, making each ornament completely one of a kind.

What tooling do I need to make this kit?

To make this kit, you will need (all sold separately):

• 7 mm drill bit

• 7 mm pen mill shaft

• Bushing set 1A

• Mandrel A/7 mm

This is the same tooling you use to make 7 mm Slimline pen kits. This is a woodworking turning project that requires turning, finishing, and assembly using standard woodworking equipment. You will not receive a finished ornament.

What size blank do I need to make this? 

To make this kit, you can use a 3/4" square pen blank. Pen blanks 5/8" square will also work; the length is up to you and your ornament design. For something slightly thicker, we recommend our bottle stopper blanks and ring blocks. Shown here with Yellow Box Burl pen blank (not included). 

Can I mix and match this kit for volume pricing?
