To make this kit, you will need (all sold separately):

10.5 mm drill bit
Pen mill shaft 10.5 mm
Bushing set PKFP5000BU
Mandrel A/7 mm

What is the minimum blank size I need to make this kit?

You will need a pen blank at least 3/4" square × 5" long to allow enough material for turning and trimming. Shown here with the Pearlux pen blank “Iris” (blank sold separately; see “Related Products” tab for link).

What refill do I need for this kit?

This kit includes a black Schmidt-style rollerball refill, known for its smooth ink flow and premium writing performance. Replacement refills are widely available in various colours and tip sizes.

Please note: This is a woodturning project that requires turning, finishing, and assembly using woodworking equipment. You will not receive a finished pen.
