These hand-poured glitter pen blanks are made by our in-house team of artisans using Alumilite resin and glitter mica powder. Densely packed glitter creates intense sparkle and eye-catching depth, making these blanks perfect for standout pens and turning projects. Made in Canada.

What size are these blanks?

Each blank measures approximately 3/4" diameter by 5" long (19 mm × 127 mm), ideal for most standard pen turning projects.

How do I finish these blanks?

These blanks are easy to turn and can be finished the same way as acrylic acetate pen blanks. We recommend wet sanding through successive grits of Micro Mesh followed by a plastic polish like Novus or One-Step for a deep glossy finish.

Tip: We strongly recommend painting both the outside of the brass pen tube and the inside of the drilled hole before gluing the tube into the blank. Otherwise, the brass tube may show through lighter or translucent areas. The paint colour you choose can also affect the final appearance of the finished blank. A durable enamel paint from a hobby store works well.
