What is Zona paper?
Zona papers provide an economical way to sand and polish your CA finish to a smooth, glossy surface. While not as durable as Micro Mesh sheets, they offer excellent value and produce outstanding polishing results. Zona also lets you polish in six steps compared with the nine grits used with Micro Mesh, helping reduce finishing time. The large sheets can be cut into smaller pieces to suit your project, giving you plenty of polishing material with less waste.

How do I use the products in this kit to do a CA glue finish?
After turning and sanding your project, apply thin coats of EZ-Bond CA glue to build the finish. The accelerator can be used to speed curing between coats.
Once the CA finish has cured, use the Zona papers wet, beginning with the coarsest green 30-micron sheet and working progressively through all six sheets to the finest white 1-micron sheet. Finish with Novus 2 polish to bring the surface to a high gloss.
The non-stick bushings help keep the CA finish from bonding your project to standard metal bushings during application.
Watch our video to see the technique. One note about the video: it demonstrates the CA finishing technique using Micro Mesh sheets rather than Zona paper. The technique is the same: wet sand the cured CA finish progressively from coarser to finer abrasives before applying the final polish.
