How do I use accelerator in pen turning?
Apply your CA (cyanoacrylate) glue as usual, then lightly mist the accelerator over the glued area. The glue will harden almost instantly. Use short, controlled sprays rather than soaking the surface. In pen turning, accelerator is commonly used when when filling small voids with glue, or speeding up drying time of CA glue finish between coats.
What glue can I use this with?
This accelerator can be used with any brand of CA glue we sell. You are not limited to E-Z Bond CA glues. It works with thin, medium, and thick cyanoacrylate adhesives.
Tips for best results
Use accelerator sparingly; too much can cause CA glue to become brittle or turn cloudy if using as a finish. Allow a brief moment between glue application and spraying so the adhesive can level out. Always work in a well-ventilated area.
