What tooling do I need to make this pen?

To make this kit, you will need (all sold separately):

• 7 mm drill bit

• Bushing set 14A OR Basics bushings Easyline/Comfort/Streamline

• Pen mill shaft 7 mm

• Mandrel A / 7 mm

Bonus: With this same tooling, you can also make our Budget Comfort and Budget Streamline 7 mm pen kits. This is a woodworking turning project that requires turning, finishing, and assembly with standard woodturning equipment. You will receive the kit components only, not finished pens.

What refill does this pen take?

This pen uses a Cross-style ballpoint refill, which is included with the kit. 

Can this kit be turned into a pencil?

Yes. This kit can be converted into a pencil using a Cross-style Forever pencil refill. Simply remove the ink refill and replace it with the pencil refill to create a versatile writing instrument or a matching pen-and-pencil set. 

What size blank do I need for this pen?

You’ll need a pen blank minimum 3/4" square × 5" long (not included) for each kit. Pen blanks must be purchased separately.
