What tooling do I need to make these kits?

To make the items in this gift box, you will need (all sold separately):

• Basics chalk holder: 12.5 mm drill bit, 12.5 mm pen mill shaft,

  Basics Fusion razor: mandrel A/7 mm, 7 mm drill bit, 7 mm pen mill 

  Basics ice cream scoop: drill bit 31/64" or 1/2". Use 1/2" when working with hard woods or plastics

  Basics pizza cutter: Bottle stopper mandrel BSMAND-38-16; 11/32" drill bit; 3/8 x 16 tpi tap; Live centre; Jacobs chuck or drill chuck 

This is a woodworking turning project collection that requires turning, finishing, and assembly using standard woodworking tools. Accessories and any tooling needed for the kits like drills, pen mills etc are not included and must be purchased separately.

What size blanks do I need to make these kits?

• Basics chalk holder: approximately 3/4" square × 5" long

  Fusion razor: approximately 3/4" square × 5" long

  Basics ice cream scoop: approximately 1-1/2" square × 5" long

  Basics pizza cutter: approximately 1-1/2" square × 5" to 6" long

These dimensions give you enough material to shape comfortable, well-balanced handles suited to each project. Blanks aren't included with this gift box, giving you the option to make your own choices.
