What do I need to make this kit?

To make this kit, you will need (all sold separately):

• Bottle stopper mandrel BSMAND-38-16

• 11/32" drill bit

• 3/8 x 16 tpi tap

• Live centre

• Jacobs chuck or drill chuck 

What is the minimum blank size? 

The minimum blank size: 1-1/2" square x 5" long.

What else do I need to know? 

The wheel is designed to be adjustable by loosening or tightening the screw, allowing each person to set it to their preferred feel. You will likely need to adjust the screw before using the cutter; if you don’t, the wheel won’t turn properly.

The threaded insert lets you remove the handle for cleaning.

This is a woodworking turning project that requires turning, finishing, and assembly with standard woodworking tools. You will not receive a finished pizza cutter.
