What size are these pen blanks?
Each blank measures approximately 1" square × 5" long (25 mm × 25 mm × 127 mm), making them ideal for larger pen kits as well as pill holder key rings, veggie peeler handles, bottle openers and more.
How should I finish ash?
Ash finishes beautifully. For a warm, natural appearance, apply a friction polish directly on the lathe. If you're making a pen or another project that will receive frequent handling, a cyanoacrylate (CA) glue finish like the GluBoost system provides outstanding durability while enhancing the wood's natural grain.
