Combining a complete set of Micro Mesh polishing pads with Novus 2 Plastic Polish, this kit helps remove fine scratches and produces a deep, high-gloss shine on acrylic acetate, acrylic, polyester resin and other plastics.

What is included?
This bundle includes 1 set of 9 Micro Mesh polishing pads from grits 1,500 to 12,000 and 1 bottle of Novus 2 Plastic Polish (2 oz / 59 ml).
How do I finish blanks with this bundle?
After turning your project, sand progressively through all nine Micro Mesh grits in order to gradually remove the scratches left by the previous grit. We recommend wet sanding. Dunk each grit in a cup of clean water. Sand/buff to create a slurry of water and sanded particles with each grit. Wipe the blank clean between each grit. You want to spend time buffing out scratches before moving on to the next grit. By the final pad, the surface should be exceptionally smooth with a soft gloss. Apply a dime-sized amount of Novus and buff it in for 30-60 seconds with a lint free cloth until the surface develops a deep, crystal-clear shine.

Micro Mesh polishing pads remove progressively finer sanding scratches, while Novus 2 Plastic Polish provides the final polishing step that enhances clarity and produces a brilliant, high-gloss finish. Used together, they help bring out the full colour and depth of acrylic turning materials.
