Padauk is a vibrant tropical hardwood from Central and West Africa, prized for its intense colour and striking appearance. Often called “Vermillion,” this wood starts out a bright pink-orange when freshly cut and deepens to a rich red-brown as it matures.
With its straight grain, medium texture, and natural durability, Padauk is a pleasure to work with and produces bold, eye-catching results on the lathe.
