Achieve a brilliant, high-gloss finish in less time with the Zona polishing paper assortment. These precision micron-graded polishing papers are an economical alternative to Micro Mesh and are ideal for polishing acrylic, cyanoacrylate finishes, resin, plastics and many other turning materials.

What is included in this set? 

Each set includes six large 8-1/2" × 11" (216 × 279 mm) sheets that can be cut into smaller pieces to suit your project, giving you excellent value and less waste. Each assortment includes six colour-coded polishing sheets :

• White – 1 micron (aluminum oxide)
• Aqua – 2 micron (aluminum oxide)
• Pink – 3 micron (aluminum oxide)
• Light blue – 9 micron (aluminum oxide)
• Gray – 15 micron (silicon carbide)
• Green – 30 micron (silicon carbide)

What materials can I use Zona polishing papers on?

Zona polishing papers can be used either wet or dry and are excellent for acrylic pen blanks, CA (cyanoacrylate) finishes, poly resin and polyester resin, polyurethane finishes, wood, fiberglass, aluminum or precious metals.

How do I use the polishing papers?

Begin with the coarsest sheet (30 micron/green) and work progressively through each grit until you reach the finest sheet (1 micron/white). Each step removes the scratches left by the previous grit, producing an increasingly smooth, polished surface. For acrylics and CA glue finishes, wet sanding is recommended for the best results.

Why choose Zona polishing papers?

While they are not as durable as Micro Mesh sheets, they offer excellent value and produce outstanding polishing results. The large sheets can be cut to any size, making them economical for larger projects. Zona papers allow for polishing in six steps compared to the nine grits of micro mesh, which reduces finishing time. The sheets are colour-coded for easy grit identification.
