Fun facts about Soft Maple:
“Soft Maple” doesn’t mean the wood is actually soft—it’s only softer than Hard Maple, and still denser and stronger than many other North American hardwoods.
Depending on the growing region, Soft Maple can display light curl or spalting, giving turners a chance to discover unique figure and character in each blank.
