This is a woodturning project kit that requires turning, finishing, and assembly using woodworking equipment. You will not receive a finished pen. The finished pen measures approximately 13.3 cm in length.
What size blank do I need to make this pen?
This pen requires a pen blank measuring 3/4" square by 5" long, which provides ample material for turning, shaping, and trimming during the process. You can also use blanks that are 5/8" square for this kit. Shown here with acrylic pen blank AA-541 Mulberry (blank sold separately).
What refill does this pen take?
This pen uses a Cross-style ballpoint refill, included with the kit and widely available in multiple ink colours and tip sizes. One black Cross-style ink refill is included with your pen kit.
Can this pen be made into a pencil?
Yes! Easily turn this kit into a pencil with the Cross-style Forever pencil refill. Simply remove the Cross-style ink refill and replace it with the Cross-style pencil refill to give your pen more usability or create a matching set.
