What can I make with these blanks?
Pearlux blanks can be used for several projects, including:
Check the dimensions of your project and any required hardware before cutting or drilling.
How should I finish Pearlux blanks?
For a smooth, glossy finish, we recommend wet sanding with Micro Mesh followed by a plastic polish. Start with approximately 1,500 grit Micro Mesh and work progressively through the grits to 12,000. Use water while sanding to help carry away sanding residue and make scratches easier to identify. Once the surface is smooth, apply a plastic polish such as Novus or One-Step while the blank is turning on the lathe. Use a clean shop towel to buff the surface to a high-gloss finish.
What makes Pearlux blanks unique?
Every Pearlux blank is individually hand-poured by our team in Guelph, Ontario. The colours, swirls and patterns develop differently in each pour, so no two blanks are exactly alike. Variations in colour distribution are a normal part of the handmade process and contribute to the individual character of each blank.
Because these blanks are individually handmade, variations in colour distribution and slight internal imperfections are to be expected. We do not offer refunds for colour variations or minor internal imperfections. We also do not replace blanks that become damaged during cutting, drilling, trimming, turning, finishing or assembly.
The product photo is representative of the colour combination and general appearance. Your blank will be selected at random, and the exact colour distribution, swirling and patterns will vary from the example shown.
Can I mix and match Pearlux blanks for volume discounts?
