This is an especially unique piece of Weru Burl, featuring an exceptional concentration of burl eyes throughout the blank along with areas of natural spalting. The combination creates an unusually busy, highly figured appearance, with the numerous eyes providing intricate detail and the spalting adding additional lines, colour variation and character.

What is Weru Burl?

Weru Burl is valued for its highly irregular and distinctive figure. Burl growth produces swirling grain, eyes and other unpredictable patterns that can become especially dramatic once turned and finished.
