Magic Juice polishing compound – six-step polishing system

Bring your resin and CA-finished projects to a brilliant, high-gloss shine with the Magic Juice polishing compound system. This six-step polishing system is specially formulated for solid resin materials, plastics and cyanoacrylate (CA) finishes, producing a smooth, professional finish with exceptional clarity and depth. 

What is included?

Each set includes 6 1 oz bottles of Magic Juice polishing compounds that follow steps 1 through 6. 

What materials can I use it on?

Magic Juice is recommended for:

• Solid resin pen blanks
• Acrylic and plastic projects
• Pens and other projects finished with cyanoacrylate (CA)

For Fusion Hybrid blanks, apply a sealing finish such as cyanoacrylate, Craft Coat or a similar finish before polishing with Magic Juice. Magic Juice is not recommended for raw, unfinished wood or projects finished with friction polish.

How do I use Magic Juice?

For best results, follow all six steps to produce the highest gloss and best overall finish: 

1. Wet sand your project to approximately 2,000 grit. Stopping at 800 grit is acceptable if desired.
2. Set your lathe speed between 2,400 and 3,000 RPM.
3. Begin with Step 1 and work through each bottle in order, finishing with Step 6.
4. Apply only a small amount of compound—about the size of a pencil eraser.
5. Polish each step for approximately 20 to 60 seconds using light to moderate pressure.
6. When the compound changes from a slightly gritty feel to a smooth feel, move on to the next step.

Important storage information

Magic Juice is water based and should not be allowed to freeze.
