This bundle includes a deluxe razor and brush stand kit, Fusion-style 2 razor handle hardware, and a nylon (synthetic) shaving knot. Synthetic knots are durable, quick-drying, and low maintenance, making them an excellent choice for everyday use. They produce a rich lather with less soap, resist shedding, and are a great alternative to natural hair. Note: Fusion-style 2 refers to the kit style and not the blade cartridge.

What size blanks do I need?
The stand and handle kits in this bundle are designed for standard pen blank dimensions. You will need blanks measuring approximately 3/4" square by 5" long (19 mm × 19 mm × 127 mm) for the razor handle and stand. For the brush handle, ensure your blank is large enough to accommodate shaping and the shaving knot recess - bottle stopper or project blocks 1-1/2" square (38 mm x 38 mm) are ideal for this.
What tooling do I need to make this kit?
To make this set, you will need (all sold separately) the following:
For the stand: Bushing set 94A, standard pen mandrel A/7 mm, 7 mm drill bit
For the razor: Bushing set 93A or BUSH-RAZ-FUS-2, standard pen mandrel A/7 mm, 7 mm drill bit
For the brush: 20 mm Forstner bit, bottle stopper mandrel 3/8-16, drill and tap set 3/8-16
The razor handle and stand are easy, beginner-friendly kits; the brush is a more intermediate level project - a great way to extend your turning skills if you're new to this hobby!

What razor cartridge will fit this kit?
This kit is designed to fit standard Gillette Fusion-style cartridges. Any compatible Fusion-style replacement cartridge will snap directly onto the handle. For a women’s option, this handle is also compatible with Gillette Venus cartridges that use the same connection style. This makes it easy to customize the finished razor for different users while using the same turned handle.
