What will I receive?

Each bag contains approximately 1 kg of assorted wood cutoff pieces and seconds. Pieces vary in size, shape, colour and species, and no two bags will be exactly alike. The photos shown are representative examples only and do not show the exact pieces you will receive. Specific wood species, sizes or quantities are not guaranteed.

What can I make with these cutoffs?

Let your creativity run wild! Depending on the pieces in your bag, they could be used for small turning and woodworking projects, inlays, accents, segmented work, jewellery, pendants, finials, knobs, handles, small decorative pieces and more. They're also a great way to experiment with woods you may not have worked with before without committing to a full-size blank.

Are the pieces ready to use?

These are workshop cutoffs rather than dimensioned blanks, so expect a variety of sizes and shapes. Pieces may require cutting, squaring, sanding or other preparation depending on the project you have in mind.

Each bag is unique, but it's guaranteed to be chock-full of beautiful blanks and bits just waiting for a little imagination. May also include stabilized wood and acrylics. 

What are the size of the pieces in the bag?

The pieces range in size from small pieces or blank cut offs to blanks that may be long enough to make a regular sized pen. Some pieces might be better suited to making rings, key rings or shorter barrel pens like Aurora or Maple Leaf. Others are ideal for casting or segmenting. Each bag's content is assorted.
