Budget Fancy Slimline pencil kit – includes 0.7 mm lead
Turn your own Slimline pencil with our Budget Fancy kit, complete with smooth 0.7 mm lead for everyday writing. Easy to turn, finish, and assemble, this pencil kit is perfect for both beginners and seasoned woodturners. Matching pen kit available, sold separately.
To make this kit, you will need:
7 mm drill bit
Bushing 1A
Mandrel A/7 mm
Pen mill shaft 7 mm

Shown here with a Poly resin pen blank in Amethyst Mine (blank not included). This is a woodworking turning project. You will receive a kit that requires turning, finishing, and assembly with woodworking equipment. You will not receive a finished pencil.

Assembly tips
☐ Align barrels perfectly straight before pressing into the centerband
☐ Do not force the mechanism through the centerband — realign if it catches
☐ Ensure mechanism front seats fully into the silver insert in the lower barrel
Lead issues
☐ If lead pushes back in, remove broken piece and click to advance new lead
☐ Use the small wire in the bottom of the eraser cup to clear jammed lead from the tip
Eraser & refill access
☐ Pull off the button cap to access the eraser
☐ Pull off the metal eraser cup to access spare leads inside
