Create a sleek, modern ring with this black ceramic ring core, designed specifically for woodturners and makers who enjoy crafting custom inlay rings. This one-piece core features a polished black ceramic finish, beveled outer edges and a comfort-fit interior for a smooth, comfortable feel when worn.
The centre groove is designed to hold the inlay material of your choice — from crushed stone and metal to wood, resin or other creative materials. Once the inlay is installed, the ring can be carefully turned and polished so the inlay sits perfectly flush with the ceramic core, creating a striking finished ring.
The inlay groove measures 6 mm wide, and the overall ring width is approximately 8 mm, providing a balanced look that works well for both bold or subtle inlay designs.
How are these ring cores used?
The groove in the ring core is filled with your chosen inlay material. Once cured, the inlay is turned down until it is flush with the ceramic ring core and then polished to the finish of your choice.
This ring is not made from a ring blank. Instead, the finished ring is created by adding inlay material to the groove in the ceramic ring core.
This is a woodworking turning project that requires turning, finishing and assembly using standard woodworking equipment. You will not receive a finished ring.

These ring cores are available in full and half sizes from ring size 7 through ring size 12.5. Select your desired size from the dropdown menu above.
