Budget round top European 7 mm ballpoint twist pen kit

Create a clean, classic everyday pen with this Budget Round Top European 7 mm ballpoint twist pen kit that evokes the style of the iconic Mont Blanc pens.  

What tooling do I need to make this kit?

To make this kit, you will need (all sold separately):

• Bushing set 107A

• Drill bit 7 mm

• Pen mill shaft 7 mm

• Mandrel A/7 mm

The finished pen measures approximately 14 cm in length. This is a woodworking turning project that requires turning, finishing and assembly with woodworking equipment. You will not receive a finished item.

What size blank do I need?

Use a standard pen blank measuring approximately 3/4" square by 5" long. This provides plenty of material for drilling, turning, and trimming.

What refill does this kit take?

This kit uses a Cross-style ballpoint refill, which is included. Cross-style refills are easy to find and simple to replace. You can easily convert this pen into a pencil by replacing the ink refill with a Cross-style Forever pencil refill. Simply remove the ink refill and screw the pencil refill into the pen in its place. The result is a smooth-writing pencil that lasts an incredibly long time and never needs sharpening.

What else should I know?
