Badger hair shaving knot for making a shaving brush. Shaving knot base is 20mm, height is approximately 68 mm. If making with decor cup PKRACUP, requires 13/16" forstner bit, bottle stopper mandrel 3/8-16tpi OR screw chuck JJX42, and drill and tap set BSTAPSET2 (sold separately). 
If making without decor cup PKRACUP, requires 7/8" forstner bit, bottle stopper mandrel 3/8-16tpi OR screw chuck JJX42, and drill and tap set BSTAPSET2 (sold separately). 

A firmer, darker bristle that creates a great lather. Badger hair has been used for centuries to make the best shaving brushes. Badger hair absorbs water and is the standard for applying the most comfortable, moist and penetrating lather. 

Recommended blank size 1-1/2" square by 2-1/2" long. This is a woodworking turning project that requires turning, finishing and assembly with woodworking equipment. You will not receive a finished item.
