Ordering & Paying


All prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.

We aim to ship within 24 hours of an order being placed on regular business days, Monday to Friday. During busy periods, this may take a bit longer but we'll still work hard to make sure your order gets on its way to you as quickly as possible. We process orders placed on weekends or statutory holidays on the next available business days.

All of our shipping time estimates start from the time a package is picked up from our location. Please note: any changes you make by phone or email to your order after it has been placed (whether online or by phone/email) may result in a delay in your order being shipped as we need time to manually process the changes you have requested. We cannot accommodate changes to orders once they've been filled.

We only ship to Canadian addresses. 

Weekly specials

Prices on our weekly specials are only valid during the week they are offered and do not apply retroactively to previously placed orders. NO EXCEPTIONS. No holds, rain checks, back orders or delayed shipping or payment on special feature items. 


For online, email and telephone orders, you may pay by Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard or PayPal. We also accept money orders but orders will not be shipped until payment has been received. HST/GST is added for all Canadian orders as applicable. No COD.

Please do not under any circumstances email us your credit card information. Email transmission is not secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of your information.

If you wish to pay for an email or telephone order by credit card, please call us toll free at 1-877-585-0403 with the information. If paying by money order, please make payable to William Wood-Write Ltd., and contact us for our mailing address. Your order will be shipped once payment is received. We do not accept personal cheques - if you send us one, it will be returned to you and your order will not be shipped.

Returns and backorders

We do not offer backorders on out of stock products. If you order a product that is out of stock, we will refund your money for that product. You can register your email address online for any out of stock items and we will notify you by email when it becomes available again so that you can re-order at that time.

Please check your pen or project kit to ensure all parts are there BEFORE beginning to make and assemble your project. If parts are missing or damaged, you must contact us and make arrangements to return the entire unused kit for exchange or refund. We do not have spare parts for kits and we cannot replace kits that you have already started working with.

Please inspect your blanks carefully BEFORE beginning to cut, drill or turn. We do not replace blanks that become damaged during cutting, drilling, turning or finishing.

If you wish to return an unused product for refund, you must contact us prior to returning the item to us. We do not accept returns shipped to us without prior authorization from William Wood-Write Ltd., nor do we accept returns of items that have been used. 

Shipping costs for items you wish to return are the responsibility of the customer. Items must be returned to us in their original condition, unused, undamaged or otherwise unaltered and in their original packaging, in order to qualify for a refund. If an item is lost or damaged during return shipping due to inadequate or inappropriate packaing, refunds/returns/exchanges will not be available. William Wood-Write Ltd. reserves the right to refuse any returns or refunds at its sole discretion.

Refunds or returns are not available for custom products or clearance items.

We do not warranty or accept any responsibility for finished pen or project kits that have been sold to an end user.
